UV Transfer - UV DTF
UV Transfer technology used to be called as UV DTF technology, as this is more commonly known, however this technology is a new solution for personalizing any item that has a hard surface. With this technology we can enjoy and use all the advantages of the DTF technology on other products than textile.
UV Transfer is really easy printing process, the printing is directly goes on a so called ’A’ foil, the ink dries for an UV led and after this the print goes immediately through a lamination process with a so called ’B’ foil, and the UV Transfer stickers are ready to use.
The UV Transfer stickers are also can be called as UV DTF stickers or UV 3D stickers, however on our pages we will continuously call it UV Transfer as this is the most appropriate one. The main features of these UV Transfer prints, labels that it can be used on any hard surface, thus the usage and applicatibility of these are various. Compared to other sticker such as vinyl for example these UV Transfer stickers has no background or label-edge, thus it gives a perfect screen print effect. Moreover, thanks to the varnish layer the stickers have a nice 3D effect too as they have a beautiful glossy, thin layer on them, it makes these UV Transfer stickers to stand out.
As mentioned before UV Transfer stickers have a wide range of applicability as it can be placed on any hurd surface item even on curved ones. We would like to mention some examples: glass cups, mugs, pens, bottles, files, badges and phone cases.
To apply these UV Transfer stickers you don’t need any special tool, only your hands, the product that you would like to customize and a sticker. Gently pull off the ’A’ foil, the one that is not on the colored side of the sticker, than place and fit it to the place where you wish to stick it and smooth it on the surface precisely. The last step is to pull off the ’B’ foil, but be cautious and patient, do it slowly to have a perfect finish and sharp edges.
